The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: sevilla courtyard evening, built around flamenco red, terracota, azahar. Florals — red carnations by the hundred, orange blossom garlands — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
A flamenco floor needs to sound right — we sourced a portable oak dance platform tuned like an instrument.
The result
The birthday girl danced sevillanas with her daughters on a floor that answered back; the fans went home as favours.
