The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: delft china and cornflower blue, built around cornflower, delft, linen. Florals — delphinium, cornflowers, white sweet peas — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
True blue flowers are the rarest brief in floristry — three growers and one lucky delphinium harvest made the palette honest.
The result
The bride collected her "something blue" from a table that matched it perfectly.
