The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: potting-shed garden party, built around gingham green, daisy, soil brown. Florals — daisies, herbs in terracotta, climbing jasmine — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Guests actually potting plants in dresses required elegant aprons, pre-portioned soil, and a florist on manicure patrol.
The result
Twenty-eight herb pots left with twenty-eight clean manicures; the seed packets bloom the week of the wedding.
