The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: french bakery fantasy in mint and gold, built around ladurée mint, gilt, macaron. Florals — cream roses in patisserie boxes, mint hydrangea — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
A five-hundred-macaron tower travels worse than any floral — it rode strapped in its own seat with climate control.
The result
The tower arrived intact, was photographed for an hour, and demolished in eleven delicious minutes.
