The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: cuban christmas eve backyard feast, built around poinsettia, palma, estrella. Florals — poinsettia banks and palm-frond garlands — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Sixty relatives, one backyard, and a pig roast that is both dinner and theatre — the layout revolved around the caja china.
The result
The parranda started at ten and the neighbours joined instead of complaining; Nochebuena ran till two.
