Mother’s Day Meadow Table

Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: three-generation garden picnic, built around peony, meadow, sunlight. Florals — peonies — grandmother’s favourite — with garden herbs — were prepared in our studio the day before.

Seating spanning ages four to eighty-four needed cushions, chairs and one throne disguised as a picnic seat.

Four generations wore flower crowns in the banyan shade; the recipe cards started three arguments and one family cookbook.
