Vows at Vizcaya Dusk

Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: italianate romance in white and stone, built around bianco, cypress, stone. Florals — white delphinium, garden roses, trailing ivy — were prepared in our studio the day before.

A protected landmark venue allows no tape, no wax, no anchors — every candle floated in glass and every floral stood on its own weight.

The loggia at dusk needed almost nothing from us but restraint — and the restraint is what made it unforgettable.
