The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: crystal-anniversary wine dinner, built around merlot, crystal, vine. Florals — burgundy dahlias and trailing grape vines — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Fifteen vintages of the same label — one per year of marriage — took an international bottle hunt through collectors.
The result
Each course opened the year’s bottle and one story from that year; dessert arrived with everyone in tears, happily.
