The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: literary romance in forest green, built around forest, leather, parchment. Florals — deep green foliage, white garden roses, book-page wrapped stems — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Open flame is banned near rare books — we lit the entire room with 200 flameless tapers hand-aged to look like real wax.
The result
Two novelists married inside their favourite plot; guests found their seats through a card catalogue and nobody wanted the ending.
