The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: evening shower under fairy lights, built around midnight, lullaby cream, starlight. Florals — white hydrangea glowing under canopy lights — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Most showers are brunches — an after-dark shower needed lighting design more than decoration, lumen by lumen.
The result
The terrace glowed like a nursery nightlight at full scale; half the guests stayed past the babysitters’ deadline.
