The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: nautical shower in navy and rope, built around navy, sailcloth, buoy red. Florals — white hydrangea in rope-wrapped vessels — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
A marina venue at midday means glare on white décor — we tuned every surface to matte and the photos thanked us.
The result
The lighthouse column guided guests in from the dock, and the sailboat cake made landfall to applause.
