The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: moroccan courtyard fantasy, built around spice, brass lantern, majorelle. Florals — roses floating in brass bowls, jasmine strands — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Two hundred authentic lanterns with two hundred real candles — the fire-safety plan was couture-level custom.
The result
Guests kicked off their shoes at the door without being asked — the room made the rule itself; the tea ceremony queue never ended.
