The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: storybook aviator in gold and sky blue, built around ciel, étoile gold, sable. Florals — white roses among tiny planet spheres — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
The rose-under-glass pieces needed real roses lasting the whole event under domes — chilled stems and a florist on rotation.
The result
Guests were still quoting the book at farewell; the domed roses became gifts for the grandmothers.
