The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: proposal hidden in a bookshop aisle, built around leather, first-edition red, page. Florals — single garden roses tucked into fifty book spines — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
The question lived on the final page of a real bound book — printed, aged and shelved where only she would find it.
The result
She read the last page aloud before understanding it, then turned around to him on one knee between the shelves.
