The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: storybook library shower, built around storybook cream, bookshelf green, dust jacket. Florals — roses wrapped in vintage book pages — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Every guest brought a book instead of a card — the display shelf had to grow gracefully as gifts arrived unannounced.
The result
Baby’s first library opened with 47 inscribed books; the reading corner hosted three impromptu story times.
