The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: muted rainbow for a rainbow baby, built around dusty rose, ochre, sagebrush. Florals — dried palette florals arched into a rainbow — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
A rainbow-baby shower carries a story — the palette had to feel hopeful without a single primary colour breaking the softness.
The result
The mother said the muted rainbow told their story exactly; there were happy tears at the ribbon wall.
