The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: over-the-top rose dinner for two, built around crimson, rose, candle. Florals — one thousand red and blush roses filling the dining room — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
A thousand roses in a condo dining room flirts with "too much" — height layering kept romance ahead of density.
The result
He proposed — which we did not know was the plan — and the room was already dressed for the answer.
