The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: classic grandeur in blush and crystal, built around blush, crystal, soft gold. Florals — two thousand blush roses, hydrangea, cascading amaranthus — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
Two thousand roses arrive as buds on Thursday for a Saturday wedding — our studio became a timed greenhouse with hourly checks.
The result
Every rose opened within the same twelve-hour window; the ballroom smelled like the inside of a bouquet.
