The preparation
Concept and palette were locked two weeks out: hamptons coastal in white and denim blue, built around denim, whitewash, driftwood. Florals — white hydrangea, dune grasses, sea lavender — were prepared in our studio the day before.
The challenge
A 4 pm sea breeze off the bay bends anything vertical — every arrangement was built on weighted driftwood bases and wind-tested.
The result
The party ran into a violet sunset with nothing airborne except the birthday girl’s hair in the photos — exactly the aesthetic she ordered.
